CHAPTER FOUR: The Minimed Implantable Insulin Pump (MIP)
The MiniMed PIMS pump (Chapter Three) was followed by their MiniMed Implantable Pump (MIP). The MIP Model 2001 was the first pump that we in the United States received (in the early 1990s). Model 2001 was then followed by MIP Model 2007 (It is a bit confusion but the model numbers do not refer to dates).
